I have begun offering a backlink service as an integral part of my efforts to make a living online. I am building links from a large bog network that has standards in place that ensure that all of the content posted to the network is original. Though the prices are low by any reasonable standard, the fact is that the posts are built for the purpose of building links, rather than being high quality reader content, ensures that the writing goes fairly quickly.
Since I do all of the content creation and posting, I control the account and don’t have to worry about somebody trying to slip in some duplicate or spun content. The network has a near zero tolerance policy so the risk would be too great.
I don’t want to offer a backlink service that either is, or borders on, blackhat. There are plenty of providers using programs to blast masses of low quality links back to a site. I am not saying that those services don’t have their place in a balanced SEO campaign. I think they probably do. But they can’t be the only method you use.
So someone needs to offer a quality backlink service to balance out the other methods. A gradual and constantly growing stream of in-content backlinks gives just the kind of natural appearance the search engines are looking for. The links are less likely to fall out of the indexes, so they should last. They are likely to be less subject to devaluation in a future algorithm update.
A sensible SEO strategy should include this type of link building not only as a piece of a well balanced SEO campaign, but also as insurance. Hopefully my backlink service will be seen as a valuable offering in the niche.
I am making this article a page rather than a post on this blog in part so that I can test the ability of the backlink service I am using. I will maximize the on page SEO using Easy WPSEO, and then build links to the page with in-content links from a blog network. According to Traffic Travis the keyword I am attempting to rank is of Medium Difficulty. There are a lot of backlinks to the competing sites, but little on page optimization.
I will monitor its progress in the rankings. And report on them here – Backlink Service Results. (I’ll use a different page so as not to change the content on this page). It should be an interesting test, because you would normally like the testing site to have an exact match domain name, because EMD’s add significant ranking power.
