Trying to make your voice heard on the internet is largely a solitary affair. Unless you are one of the big guys, with an office and a staff, most of your time is spent alone. One of the challenges is to find ways to keep yourself interested and motivated.
In my case I do that a couple of ways. I try to keep up some sort of social interaction by way of Skype. I spend at least some of my time on new things, whether they have money making potential or not. And I seek out voices that speak to me.
It’s no secret that my goal is to attain freedom by learning to make a living online. I have found that an important part of this process involves not only finding some sort of model that makes sense to me, but also with finding someone working that method who I can identify with. Someone who presents information in a way that seems attainable to a normal Joe like me.
One of the few people I follow is Tony Shepherd. I have bought a couple of products from him, and his writing is clear, concise, and written in a very approachable manner. He seems like a pretty normal guy, with a family and a life, who has figured out how to make a good living doing at least some of what I want to do.
It is obvious that he has some skills, but they don’t seem like skills that are beyond me. Let me tell you, this is not always the case. When I look at what a lot of people do to achieve success I have the impression that it has to do with an innate salesmanship that I just don’t possess. A simple ease with talking to people, selling themselves and making the kinds of networking connections that are so important in business.
Not that Tony Shepherd doesn’t seem to have some of those attributes. But unlike others, his writing style is such that I feel like I could sit down and have a beer with him (if only I still drank).
Anyway, this is not a review of any particular product Tony has put out, it is just more an endorsement of Tony’s stuff in general.
I encourage you to check his style out for yourself. Pick up a sample copy of Tony Shepherd’s Affordable Mentoring Newsletter to get a feel for what he’s all about.
There are no strings attached. Read it and see what Tony is all about.
